I was experimenting a bit the other day, trying to create a small scene for some photos. I had painted a small canvas to look like the sky with some swirly clouds, created some mushrooms out of paper clay, and crocheted some bright green yarn to look like grass.
Although the end picture didn't turn out the way I had hoped (it reminds me of a scene from Mario Brothers), I was quite happy with the sky and clouds I had painted. I didn't want the canvas to go to waste so I decided to add a bit more to the picture.
I don't usually have a plan when I start a project so I never really know what things will look like until they're done. This was especially true with this picture. I just started painting and this is what I ended up with. I quite like how it turned out. I especially like my little patchwork mouse.
